What a September!

Wow, September went by so quickly, it's impressive! Three events in one month, and it's only the beginning. October will also be busy with the Budapest Challenger and the Mezzaluna Cup in Rome. Then, at the beginning of November, we'll have the French Grand Prix in Angers! And yes, we were selected, and we're very proud to be participating in the second Grand Prix of our career.
The start of the season was marked by the presentation of our programs in Lyon. It wasn't a simulation as usual, but rather a training format with discussions with technical specialists and judges. This direct exchange format seemed much more relevant and enriching to us. Thanks to excellent preparation over the summer, we were ready to present our full short program and our free program in two parts, as requested. The feedback confirmed our direction, and our many improvements were highlighted. This information allowed us to continue our journey, and two weeks later, we left for the Nebelhorn Trophy Challenger in Oberstdorf.
After a few adventures, including taking the wrong train and making a small detour, we finally arrived at our destination and were able to compete with the best in the world. This event, which felt like a mini European Championship, wasn't the easiest. However, the experience was incredibly enriching. We were truly happy to have been able to perform our two programs with great joy and enjoyment. This is our starting point, and we intend to develop these two themes and these different characters.
We left on Sunday to train for a few days in Helsinki, before heading to Lyon via Amsterdam, then Grenoble, and finally Villard-de-Lans. Yes, that's a lot of cities in a short time, haha, but every time we travel, we feel so grateful for the opportunity we have to experience all these experiences. So... Long live life! We wanted to extend our sincere thanks to Françoise, our coach in Grenoble, for kindly giving us the opportunity to skate in Grenoble on Thursday before driving to Villars with our parents. Our families are always present at the Masters Skating Championships. Knowing that they come to see us skate and feeling their support is dear to our hearts. Thank you to them, without whom all these adventures would not be possible. Thank you also to everyone we had the opportunity to interact with, those who came to see us, and those who followed us from afar! Thank you also to the Supporters' Club, which organized a walk and with whom we were able to chat and share moments in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great initiative on their part; we loved it!
A third place at the Masters, the chance to participate in the gala where we presented our exhibition on Stromae's "Hell," and the announcement of our participation in the French Grand Prix in Angers... What more could you ask for to end this September?
See you soon, as we'll be meeting up next weekend in Budapest!
