A lot of things happened!
Between competitions, training sessions, and moments of sharing, our adventure is constantly evolving. Here, we give you a glimpse behind the scenes: our travels, our training sessions, our meetings, and our essential rest periods.
Follow in our footsteps on the ice… and beyond!

What a September!
Wow, September went by so quickly, it's impressive! Three events in one month, and it's only the beginning. October will also be busy with the Budapest Challenger and the Mezzaluna Cup in Rome. Then, at the beginning of November, we'll have the French Grand Prix in Angers! And yes, we were selected, and we're very proud to be participating in the second Grand Prix of our career.
The start of the season was marked by the presentation of our programs in Lyon. It wasn't a simulation as usual, but rather a training format with discussions with technical specialists and judges. This direct exchange format seemed much more relevant and enriching to us. Thanks to excellent preparation over the summer, we were ready to present our full short program and our free program in two parts, as requested. The feedback confirmed our direction, and our many improvements were highlighted. This information allowed us to continue our journey, and two weeks later, we left for the Nebelhorn Trophy Challenger in Oberstdorf.
After a few adventures, including taking the wrong train and making a small detour, we finally arrived at our destination and were able to compete with the best in the world. This event, which felt like a mini European Championship, wasn't the easiest. However, the experience was incredibly enriching. We were truly happy to have been able to perform our two programs with great joy and enjoyment. This is our starting point, and we intend to develop these two themes and these different characters.
We left on Sunday to train for a few days in Helsinki, before heading to Lyon via Amsterdam, then Grenoble, and finally Villard-de-Lans. Yes, that's a lot of cities in a short time, haha, but every time we travel, we feel so grateful for the opportunity we have to experience all these experiences. So... Long live life! We wanted to extend our sincere thanks to Françoise, our coach in Grenoble, for kindly giving us the opportunity to skate in Grenoble on Thursday before driving to Villars with our parents. Our families are always present at the Masters Skating Championships. Knowing that they come to see us skate and feeling their support is dear to our hearts. Thank you to them, without whom all these adventures would not be possible. Thank you also to everyone we had the opportunity to interact with, those who came to see us, and those who followed us from afar! Thank you also to the Supporters' Club, which organized a walk and with whom we were able to chat and share moments in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great initiative on their part; we loved it!
A third place at the Masters, the chance to participate in the gala where we presented our exhibition on Stromae's "Hell," and the announcement of our participation in the French Grand Prix in Angers... What more could you ask for to end this September?
See you soon, as we'll be meeting up next weekend in Budapest!

Return to Helsinki
Hello,
We're finally here! The national tests in Lyon are this weekend! After two months of intense preparation, we are ready to present our programs to the federation, the judges, and the technical specialists present at this event.
Here are a few words that could aptly describe our last three weeks in Helsinki: calm, balance, serenity, body, pleasure, and learning. Indeed, we resumed our coaching with Laurie May, who has been with us for over three years now, and we obviously continued to learn about ourselves, strengthen our connection, and understand the essence of our short program. Thank you, Laurie, for the work we've done together; it's always a breath of fresh air to work with you. Thank you for continuing to support us on the path of learning and self-kindness.
We had the opportunity to meet and share several weeks of training with the Polish couple Alexandra Borysova and Aaron Freeman. It was a real pleasure skating with Alexandra and Aaron, a positive and hardworking couple we had the pleasure of meeting earlier this month in Turin. They then joined us in Helsinki for two weeks.
During these three weeks, two new couples also joined us, all the way from Japan: Utana Yoshida and Masaya Morita. Accompanied by their coach Cathy Reed, a former Olympian, it was also a pleasure to welcome them! Always in a good mood, we really enjoyed sharing the ice with them! And Cathy, what an incredible encounter, very funny and always positive, thank you for your smile!! And Hilda and Nolen, a brand new couple representing Finland in the junior category. Nolen comes to us all the way from Toronto, and they are actually at their first Junior Grand Prix this weekend in Linz, Austria. Enjoy!!!
We also met up with our dance teachers: Sini (with whom we also worked on ice), Maria, our ballet teacher, and Jutta, our dancesport teacher.
Otherwise... Aside from the reunions and new encounters, the machine has been restarted, the programs have resumed, and our goal remains the same: to be better. To continue learning about our bodies, our technique, our programs, and our minds. We continue on our path and are happy to express our inner light. Thank you for reading these few sentences summarizing our last month, and we'll see you soon, hoping to bring you good news!!

August 2023 - Torino
Hi everyone!
Here we are at the end of our six-week internship in Turin. What an experience!
We've just returned to Helsinki, and as surprising as it may seem, we're very happy about it. Despite a major lack of light in winter and heartbreaking temperatures, we were starting to miss the peace and quiet. We don't necessarily realize it, but living in a gentle, simple, easy-going city, where it's so easy to get around, where being on time and organized is part of the culture, it's life-changing...
This doesn't take away from the incredible moments we had throughout our stay in Italy: our friends, the ice, the coaches, the environment, the food, and more. We're bringing back with us so many memories that will remain etched in our hearts.
Neil Brown joined us for these last two weeks, and it was a pleasure working with him again. Thank you, Neil, for your unwavering support. You've been with us since day one, and we hope to keep you by our side for a long time to come.
Nicolo has also been a huge part of these last two weeks with us. Nicolo is a choreographer with a resume as long as your arm. He has danced on Broadway for years, to name just one of his accomplishments. His energy has done us a lot of good, filling us with happiness, support, and kindness. Thank you, Nicolo, for all of this. We'll see each other again soon, for sure.
A quick shout-out to you too, Emanuele. Thank you for your patience, your commitment, and your spontaneity. Thank you for your kindness.
To sum it all up, thank you to everyone who made this workshop such a wonderful experience: coaches, students, teachers, bartenders. You all carried out this workshop with passion and kindness. You made us laugh, dance, work, doubt, rework, and dance again, and this experience is now printed in our book.
We are now in the final stretch before our September tests. In three weeks, we'll be going to Lyon to present our programs to the federation, and we can tell you that we're looking forward to it. We can't wait to present our work, rediscover some of the sensations, get feedback from the judges, etc.
See you soon, friends!

July 2023 in Turin
Hello,
So, here we are.
It's now been a month since we arrived in Turin. A lot has changed for us over the past month: the weather, the sports complex, the schedule, our teammates, the coaches. We've been fortunate to be supported by an exceptional team of instructors, both professionally and personally.
Let's start with Sara and Kirill. It was the first time we'd met them. It was literally love at first sight. Sara, a little bundle of love, and Kiril, an incredible force. We worked on our freestyle with Sara during the first part of the camp, as well as on the morning group warm-ups, which were led by a different coach each day. Their presence did us a lot of good. Having such inspiring skaters found a skating school together in Europe, with so much love and respect for their sport and its protagonists, is what a joy... We keep a little hope for our sport when we meet people like you 🖤.
The skaters training in Madrid with Sara and Kirill were also with us during these four weeks: Sofia & Asaf, Paulina & Dev, Philomène & Raul, and Elena & Antonio.
We already knew the first three couples listed, including Sofia, Paulina & Dev, and Philomène & Raul, with whom we've trained in the past. Asaf, whom we know from competitions, and we met and got to know Elena and Antonio, the only junior couple this July in Turin.
These four couples really brought a breath of fresh air to the city, haha. It was a pleasure to share the ice, the office, and the outings with them. Lots of work, lots of laughter, lots of joy, and above all, lots of shaaaaade!
We are super proud of you all and wish you the best for the future. We hope you thrive and find your inner joy through this adventure that is skating.
We're continuing the Latin wave with the Italians and Slovaks coached by Luca Lanotte in Milan. Luca did our short program in April. We had time to work with him on our RD to make it even better. It's a real pleasure working with Luca. This coach has the power to create an indescribably healthy environment around us when we work together. We could work with him every day... Luca came with Victoria & Carlo, an Italian couple, and Sofia & Nikkita, a Slovak couple. We met Victoria & Carlo last summer during our training camp in Lyon and we met Sofia & Nikkita again in April while we were putting together our short program in Milan. Unlike the Spaniards, they will stay with us until the end of the camp in mid-August. They are very inspiring skaters, both technically and artistically.
Then, of course, we met up with our usual Helsinki team, Yuka & Juho, Juulia & Matthias, and Sherim & Chelsea, as well as our coach Maurizio Margaglio. We were super happy to be able to see Sherim & Chelsea again, whom we hadn't seen for several months, and it was obviously with joy that we were reunited with our Finns, Yuka & Juho and Juulia & Matthias, who have been (almost) part of our daily lives for the past two years.
We welcomed Isabelle Delobel (2008 World Champion) during the second week. From freestyle to RD, including warm-ups, Isabelle gave us a different perspective and advice that we will be able to develop during the rest of the season. We had the opportunity to work with Isabelle in 2019 and 2020 when we were still in Lyon, and we're delighted to have been able to repeat the experience three years later. Yes, three years later... time flies!!!
Emanuele taught ballet and modern dance classes three times a week, classes filled with interaction and joy, and Mirco took care of physical preparation and balance. It was much needed, hahahah.
We also had a wonderful and unexpected encounter with Giuliano Maurel. Giuliano is the photographer who took the last sepia-toned portraits we posted on our social media. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. More photos are on the way...
To sum up, it was a wonderful July, with no regrets and a heart full of stars. Thank you all, thank you to Maurizio for all the organization, thank you to the CUS of Torino for welcoming us, thank you to all the coaches, all the skaters, and all the parents and supporters without whom none of this would be possible. We love you.
August will surely also hold plenty of surprises with the arrival of Neil Brown, our junior pairs from Finland Emma & Oskari, and the fast-approaching arrival of the 2023 national tests in Lyon.
Stay tuned for new adventures!!

Creation of the 2023/2024 program
Hi everyone,
After a well-deserved rest, we started our off-season work with the creation of our new choreographies.
After going to Milan for our short program with Luca Lanotte, we dedicated three intense days in Rome with renowned choreographer Massimo Scali to create our free program. We experienced three days of incredible creativity alongside Massimo, who was able to understand our artistic vocabulary.
We will keep you updated on the next chapter of our adventures 🖐🏻🖐🏽

World University Games 2023
Hello, hello,
Feedback on the World University Games that took place in January 2023 in Lake Placid. We each left with a bronze medal, a 5-hour bus ride, an 8-hour plane ride, a 6-hour wait, a 3-hour plane ride, and Arnaud realizing he forgot his computer in the United States 🤦🏻♀️.
More seriously 😂, it was a wonderful human and sporting experience. We had the chance to get to know other French athletes, as well as the wonderful people who made up the staff, and we created wonderful memories alongside them.
Kisses,
Natacha & Arnaud
